Scott is passionate about family, community and business. 

 

Scott has been married for 24+ years and has 2 wonderful children. As a family they spend their time camping, hiking, biking, exploring and playing games together. They enjoy gathering and socializing with friends.

 

At the community level, over the years, Scott has been involved with an outreach that was run out of Christian Life Assembly called Monday Night Cafe. Monday Night Cafe served the “underhoused” and vulnerable of Langley for 9+ years. Scott along with a friend were instrumental in planting the seed for a second location of Monday Night Cafe in Cloverdale at his home church of Pacific Community Church (PCC). This outreach at PCC has since expanded and grown into a multi-faceted mission that continues to serve the Cloverdale and Langley areas.

 

Scott has been actively involved with church life as a member at Pacific Community Church. He has served in various leadership roles on the Missional Team and Board of Elders. He helped revive and re-establish the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program (CCHP) over a three year span when it was in danger of discontinuing. It is now on healthy footings and under the direction of a great leadership team.

 

In business, Scott is proud to work as a real estate advisor, helping his clients in their buying and selling needs with real estate. Scott grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and has built and run various businesses over the years.

 

Scott’s first trip to Haiti was in September 2006 where the beautiful people and country quickly grabbed his heart. Since then he has been back to Haiti a number of times and has had the opportunity to travel around the country and visit different communities.

 

Scott is a thinker, dreamer, visionary type of guy that tries to see the big picture and has a desire to empower others. He likes to roll up his sleeves, make decisions and get things done.
